Nicolas Rapold

Nicolas Rapold is the author of The Worlds of Hayao Miyazaki and the forthcoming Frederick Wiseman: Interviews. His work is published in The New York Times, Sight & Sound, Filmmaker, The Financial Times, Screen Slate, and other publications, and is anthologized in several books. He has curated film programs at Lincoln Center, Anthology Film Archives, and across the world. He served as editor-in-chief of the award-winning Film Comment magazine, has taught at NYU and Princeton University, and is a member of the National Society of Film Critics. He hosts the podcast The Last Thing I Saw, featuring filmmakers, journalists, and programmers as guests.
