Catherine grew up in Bath and has always loved stories and reading. She had always secretly dreamt of becoming an author but never thought she was good enough. When she was younger she wrote all the time but only ever dared share any of her stories with her teachers just in case they were no good.

Instead she lived vicariously through her many, many books, and worked in the NHS for 20+ years rather than being the author she always hoped.

Until she decided to try out this author thing and with the support of her family, she finally took the plunge and finished her first novel, which is due to be published in 2025.

Catherine now lives by the sea in a small coastal town in South West England, with her husband, children and four cats. She still works full time in the NHS, and plans to continue to do so unless this author thing blows up of course.
