Author Bio

John Canoe is the investigative voice of IC3 Crime Scene Investigators (IC3CSI), the official investigative authority of the IC3 Black State/Crown. Performing at the intersection of law, history, and activism, Canoe has built a reputation as both a street performer and a cultural commentator who transforms performance into political education.

Writing under the banner of IC3CSI, Canoe documents the global hostage condition of IC3 Black and IC6 Mixed-Black peoples and exposes the failures of institutions to recognise or address anti-Black racism. His work connects Britain’s historical role in the trade of enslaved Africans with its modern obligations, demanding that the UK extend its abolitionist legacy into reparatory justice.

Canoe is the author of multiple works that combine investigation, evidence, and cultural testimony, including The Spooky Law, Banks Value Goods, and The Genocide of Black Europeans. Britain Must Lead stands as his definitive contribution: a reference book that positions Britain’s unique race classification system at the heart of the global struggle for reparatory justice.

When not publishing or performing, Canoe continues his work with IC3CSI, documenting institutional neglect, building investigative archives, and pressing for international recognition of reparatory justice frameworks.
