David Krulicki grew up in the small mountain town of Hope, British Columbia, where stories seemed to linger in the mist between the peaks. The youngest of seven, he learned early how to find humor in chaos and adventure in the ordinary. Those roots inspired his debut, Paper Planes & Falling Stars—a fact-based fiction novel that blends family, laughter, loss, and a touch of the unexplainable.
When he’s not writing, David can be found coaching young archers, tinkering with new creative projects, or sipping strong coffee while daydreaming about galaxies far stranger than our own. His latest series, Rift Rangers, carries that same mix of heart and humor into a cosmic adventure of time rifts, Pattern Pirates, and a reluctant hero known as Captain Klondike.
David believes the best stories make us laugh, ache, and wonder all at once—and maybe remind us that even in the strangest moments, we’re not alone.
