Bill Blizzard

Bill Blizzard is an architect, a lifelong traveler, and a former army officer stationed in Germany. Together with his wife, Pat, he spent years exploring Europe, where his fascination with Gothic cathedrals first sparked curiosity about the intersections of faith, history, and culture. Raised within Southern religious traditions, his deeper journey began thirty-five years ago when his son’s concerns prompted him to reexamine the faith he had inherited. This generational exchange of questions and dreams, parents and children teaching one another was profoundly captured in CS&N’s song “Teach Your Children Well” and embraced in his tireless research and writing.

Not a theologian or seminary insider, Blizzard writes free from institutional allegiances, able to follow questions wherever they lead—into scripture, history, psychology, and myth. The result is Reclaiming Humanity: not a book of doctrine, but an invitation to confront antisemitism, challenge assumptions, and rediscover the humanity at the heart of faith.
