Debbie Spence is an award-winning author, mother of five, and grandmother to a growing brood of little ones. Ever since Miss Pearl scrawled an A++ across her tenth-grade creative writing assignment, Debbie has been writing nonstop. For twenty-five years, she poured her creativity into homeschooling her children while her dream of publication quietly waited its turn.

When her nest emptied, Debbie embraced the chance to revive that dream. She began by writing children's picture books, then shifted her focus to nonfiction after an unforgettable journey through Europe. Her memoir, Searching for Home - The European Journey of a Frazzled Mom, chronicles her quest for a slower, more intentional way of living and explores the true meaning of home.
