C.D. NELSON

C.D. Nelson is a historical fiction author whose life has been defined by service, sacrifice, and an unshakeable devotion to family. An infantry veteran with eleven years of service, he carries the weight and wisdom of the battlefield into every story he tells. A devoted husband of over two decades and proud father of four, he writes from a place of hard-earned perspective, where duty meets love, and endurance shapes legacy.

His debut novel, A Common Hearth, introduced readers to the storm-swept brutality of the 9th-century Viking Age and established him as a powerful new voice in historical fiction. Now, with A Stone Sanctuary(coming soon), he continues the saga, deepening the themes of honor, loyalty, and the fierce will to persevere that define his work. For readers who love history that feels lived in, C.D. Nelson delivers stories only a man who has truly fought and endured could write.
