Davey Green

Davey Green is a Dominican American author, creator, and cultural storyteller based in Miami Beach. Born in Queens and raised in Connecticut, he writes at the intersection of memory, identity, history, and cultural inheritance, with ancestral roots in Samaná, Dominican Republic.

He is the author of Samaná: Seven Generations (Livingston Press, Spring 2027), an intergenerational novel shaped by migration, faith, and remembrance. His broader literary and cultural work includes Story Letters from Samaná, The Root Verse, Las Raíces en Verso, The Root Verse / Las Raíces en Verso: Bilingual Edition, and Crafted by a Nation: The Making of Dominican Identity, a work of cultural criticism examining how Dominican identity was built, narrated, and defended across generations.

Green is the founder of 6/18 Legacy LLC and Legacy Labs™, where he develops projects across literature, education, and cultural storytelling. He is the creator of The Samaná Structure™ and the originator of Narrative Architecture™, a discipline focused on how stories, systems, and cultural memory are designed to endure across time, medium, and context.

He also writes the Story Letters from Samaná and Legacy Labs™ Substacks, and publishes across two YouTube channels: his personal channel, where he explores Blackness, Dominican identity, Miami life, writing, and cultural memory, and the Legacy Labs™ channel, where he applies Narrative Architecture™ to stories, systems, public discourse, and meaning-making in real time.

Across fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and framework design, his work centers on one core concern: how memory survives, how identity is shaped, and how stories can be built to outlast a single form.

When he is not writing, he is often at a Miami ventanita with a cafecito, shaping stories that carry history forward.
