Sundar Kumarasamy is the founder and CEO of Excelerate, an experiential-learning platform preparing global learners for the automated economy. Launched in 2022 from hubs in Boston and Dubai, Excelerate addresses the skills gap that will affect 1.2 billion workers over the next decade by delivering lifelong upskilling pathways from pre-college to sustained career success.

Before Excelerate, Sundar spent more than twenty-five years transforming U.S. higher education. He served as Senior Vice Chancellor for Strategic Growth and Vice President for Enrollment Management at Northeastern University, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing at the University of Dayton, and Assistant Vice President at Saint Joseph’s University, earning a reputation as an innovator for access, tuition guarantees, and textbook-free initiatives.
