Sonya Daniels-Hines is an accomplished author who passionately champions the empowerment of women and girls through her storytelling. Holding a degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from SUNY Erie Community College and a diploma in writing from the Institute of Children’s Literature. Moreover, Sonya transitioned from a successful communications career to pursue her true passion for writing. Her works, including the celebrated “Gift of Words,” have garnered her recognition as a Distinguished Member of Poetry, a platform for poets. Drawing inspiration from literary legends such as Maya Angelou and Langston Hughes, she crafts thought-provoking narratives that invite readers to reflect on their experiences. Outside of her writing endeavors, Sonya cherishes spending time with her family, enjoying music, art, and various crafts.
