Nandini Kapadia is a seeker, writer and storyteller whose interest in spirituality was kindled at a young age. Her work explores the timeless questions of identity, Truth, and the sacred woven into ordinary life. Deeply rooted in Indic spirituality yet universal in its resonance, her writing draws from decades of Self-enquiry, encounters with teachers, and lived experience across geographies.
Her books include "Life Finds Its Way: Reflections on Reality with Sabyasachi Guha" (Zen Publications, 2019), a diary-style account of her interactions with her mentor Sabyasachi Guha, and "India’s Spiritual Heroines" (Motilal Banarsidass, 2023), an anthology celebrating the lives and voices of women saints, sages and mystics. With the quiet strength of the feminine voice, she seeks to offer not merely stories, but companions for the inner journey.
A native of Mumbai, Nandini holds a Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Mumbai. She began her career in journalism as a staff editor with leading news publications, including the Times of India, before moving to the United States in 1995. During her twenty-five years abroad, she continued working as a freelance editor. Now based between New Delhi and Mumbai, she has returned to her roots—both geographical and spiritual.
