Zenobia Cockrell has dedicated more than three decades to inspiring young minds as an educator and school librarian. She is passionate about fostering a love of reading and encouraging students to see themselves as capable, creative, and full of potential.

Her debut children’s book, I Wish I Never Had a Teacher Like You!, was written straight from the heart to uplift children, remind them of their value, and show the power of resilience.

Zenobia is the founder of Zspire, her publishing brand, which she uses to create stories that shine with positivity, faith, and hope. When she’s not writing or working with students, she enjoys mentoring, creating inspirational content, and spending time with her family.

Her mission is simple: to leave every child she meets with the belief that they are seen, loved, and destined to shine.
