Laura Lynn Smith

A graduate of Texas A&M University and an award-winning high school teacher, Laura Smith spent two decades teaching English, speech, theater, and journalism, coaching student journalists to success on the national level. After retiring from public education, she ventured into writing fiction and continues to work as a judge for student journalism contests. A native and long-time resident of the Texas Panhandle, she now resides in Central Texas.

With her Cliffside City Romance series, she aims to offer her readers a break from the sometimes harsh realities of life as they step into a community filled with charm, warmth, and characters who will steal a reader's heart. She hopes readers will fall in love with the community of Cliffside City and the characters whose love extends beyond themselves as they learn to walk through the challenges of life with faith, family, and friends.
