Dr. Buwaneka Senanayake

I am a social scientist and higher education leader who has always been fascinated by people—their choices, contradictions, and quiet courage. Born and raised in Sri Lanka, a place where stories hide in plain sight and truth often wears the mask of myth, I have always looked for the hidden narratives in the world around us.

While my first novel was a medico-romance written almost by accident, my primary creative focus is the SPARC series—geo-political thrillers set in the world of covert intelligence and moral ambiguity. The stories are fiction, but real life always finds a way to slip through the cracks. When I am not writing, I work closely with universities and business schools, helping them navigate and find clarity in complex systems.

This lifelong pursuit of making sense of the messy, brilliant, and unpredictable human story is something I share with my wife, Dr Sandra Senanayake, a leading paediatric consultant. Together, we have bridged our professional and creative worlds into a shared digital space.
