Meghan Saint

Meghan Saint writes emotionally raw, enchantingly sharp stories where love, magic, and mess collide. Her romantic fantasy and contemporary novels explore trauma, hope, and the complicated people who fight for both.

Based in Ontario, she lives with her husband, Bradly; their spirited toddler, Terry; a Great Dane mix named Mucca; and a cat named Sonic the Hedgehog (yes, really). When she isn’t writing, she’s likely hiking a local trail—or getting lost in a video game map.

Saint describes her writing style as “chaos first, logic later.” Her stories often begin as fever-dream ideas scribbled in her Notes app and evolve through instinctive bursts of drafting and obsessive refinement. She writes by emotion, revising relentlessly until each scene feels true. The result is fiction that’s messy, vulnerable, and undeniably real.

Her debut novel, Through (dis)Honest Eyes, is a dark romantic comedy and a fictionalized retelling of her own story. Set in Kansas City, it captures the chaos and contradictions of growing up in a loud Midwestern family while navigating love, loss, and the long road through therapy. It’s a sharp, candid portrayal of a woman coming to terms with her grief, identity, and the reality of living undiagnosed with ADHD into adulthood.
