Kim Pierce

Kim Pierce is an HR consultant, coach, and entrepreneur who helps professionals leave the corporate grind and build consulting businesses of their own. With 25 years in HR, including leadership roles at Starbucks, Amazon, and Vail Resorts, she left the 9 to 5 world in 2015 to start TruckeeHR, the consulting firm she still runs today, serving more than 500 small and mid-size employers. She also founded CairnHR, an AI-focused HR platform. Alongside her practice, Kim teaches others how to create freedom and income and has a YouTube channel dedicated to just that at @KimPierceHR. She believes consulting isn't limited to HR. Anyone can turn their skills, passions, or even hobbies into a successful business or side hustle. When she isn't writing or coaching, you'll find her mountain biking in Lake Tahoe, enjoying wine country with family, or cheering on her two sons.
