C.M. Macleod

C. M. MacLeod has lived her whole life in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Growing up in the small, rural community of Framboise, she fell in love with reading from an early age. When she moved to Sydney as a child, her love of reading followed her, and she wrote her first short story in her new home. She still lives in Sydney with her family; both blood and chosen, with her husband, kids and dog. She enjoys grandma hobbies, food, a good story and spending time at home and at craft shows. An avid doom-scroller with a long line of oral story tellers behind her, she enjoys hearing and telling stories with deep rooted history as well as newer themes. She has been honing her skills, learning new ones every day. The Flames of Desire is her first publication, released on October 9th, 2025.
