J A Hoskins

J.A. Hoskins is a Canadian-born Australian author, happily anchored on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

Before stepping forward with her own stories, she spent years writing in other voices — across engineering, technical writing, and ghostwritten works. Those experiences, along with a life shaped across two hemispheres, now inform her fiction, which explores resilience, reinvention, and the deeply human ways we find our way back to ourselves.

When she isn't writing, she can be found traveling, hiking, renovating old buildings back to their former beauty, cooking for friends, or treating chocolate as the legitimate food group it truly is.

She is the author of Writer-in-Residence and John, and is currently working on her third novel, The Loreto Ladies' Luncheon.
