Penny O?Loughlin

Penny O’Loughlin once dreamt of being a tap-dancing astronaut, but now she writes books that blast off into children’s imaginations. A mum of two wild-hearted boys and one very zoomy dog, her stories are fuelled by bedtime giggles, home-life chaos, and the odd suspicious sock. When she’s not wrangling words, she’s usually hunting for her car keys (always on the key shelf). Based in Melbourne with a background in architecture and landscape architecture, Penny writes about messy magic, brave connections, and bending reality just far enough to glimpse the truth beneath. She is a member of the CBCA and SCBWI and has also ventured into YA, with her completed portal fantasy novel The Woven Runes currently seeking a publishing home.
