Ness Heckscher is an experienced events producer, consultant and author. After 20+ years in corporate events – including nine years managing major events across the Middle East – she now writes practical guides for professionals over 40 navigating career transitions.

Her work has been featured in SPICE Magazine (Australia) and M&IT Magazine (UK), Australian Over 50's Guide, Starts at 60 (Australia) and she writes about the realities of building a consulting practice, reinventing your career in midlife and navigating retirement.

She is the author of Amazon bestseller, The Event Consultant's Playbook and Retired and Underfoot: A Bloke's Guide to Not Wrecking Your Marriage.

Ness lives in Sydney with her partner and twin cats, Steve and Alan, who generously allow her to live in their house and occasionally 'assist' with writing by sitting on the keyboard. She's a storyteller, writer, avid traveller, beach enthusiast and someone who knows exactly how to get an elephant to the 21st floor of a ballroom (ask her).
