Mike Dominguez is a devoted father of three and proud grandfather of three whose journey through love, loss, and resilience has deeply shaped his storytelling. After losing his oldest son in 2022, Mike found comfort and purpose in writing stories that inspire hope and healing.

His five-year-old autistic son, Dallas Jaxon, became the heart behind The Adventures of Dallas & Lucy™ — a warm, uplifting picture book series that celebrates mindfulness, courage, and the beauty of neurodiversity. Through the loyal friendship of Dallas and his tiny chihuahua, Lucy, Mike shares messages of calm, confidence, and compassion with families around the world.

When he’s not writing, Mike enjoys spending time with his grandkids, cheering on his family’s adventures, and finding everyday moments of peace and laughter — the same kind his books hope to bring to every reader’s home.
