Sandra V. Rozo

Sandra V. Rozo is an American and Colombian economist, researcher, and loving mother of two children and a spirited dog named Vaca. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a dual master's degree from the same institution and Universidad de los Andes. Her work in development economics has shaped global policy discussions and earned her the prestigious Juan Luis Londoño Award in 2025 for advancing welfare in Colombia.

Supermom is Sandra's first book intended for an audience beyond academia. It grew out of her own journey balancing motherhood, career ambitions, and self-discovery, and out of hundreds of conversations with mothers around the world. Through candid stories and practical tools, it walks alongside mothers as they embrace their roles as extraordinary caregivers without giving up their dreams, joy, and individuality.
