At the age of 22, Irene Pasanau’s life changed dramatically when a brain injury left her in a coma. Since then, her main purpose has been to HELP.
Her trilogy is based on a real-life experience of overcoming an acquired brain injury:
• My Second Chance — the most difficult reconstruction of all: her brain, her identity, and her entire life.
• My Social Adaptation — the challenge of finding your place in the world again.
• Journeys of a Survivor — a broader perspective after everything she has lived through.
Through her books, Irene sheds light on a silent reality: brain injury can affect anyone (stroke, anoxia, trauma, tumors…).
From her own journey, she offers something rare: real emotional support, closeness, and a direct message for those who need it:
Get informed. Don’t give up. Keep fighting.
If you fall, you rise stronger.
No one knows you better than yourself.
WILLPOWER + NEUROPLASTICITY = CHANGE
