FROM BRANDS TO BOOKS

After graduating from Layton School of Art in Milwaukee, I spent ten years as a freelance illustrator creating artwork for many of the top national magazines and company brands. I also taught illustration for seven years at The Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD), serving as head of the illustration department. Later I was founder, partner, creative director and chief storyteller at two Milwaukee creative advertising agencies.

Since becoming a grandfather, I’ve turned my attention to the magical curiosities of the children’s book market. I have just written and illustrated my second book in the OLLIE & the KID Shapeshifter series.
