P. J. Johnson is a retired employment and civil rights attorney, former administrative law judge, and arbitrator who now devotes her time to writing and publishing. She is the author of "Last One Standing", a deeply personal yet universally relatable journey through sibling loss, an exploration of grief and mourning, and the role of becoming the family memory keeper. Her latest book, "Flight of the Fledgling", an illustrated children's novel, follows the journey of a curious child robin. Through her varied writings, which include a companion journal and workbook to "Last One Standing", she offers comfort, recognition, and hope to those navigating loss, guidance for those who want to understand and better support the grieving, and stories of caring, courage, and letting go.
When she isn’t writing, P. J. enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with family, gardening, baking, relaxing by the beach, and researching her family history as the memory keeper.
