The ease of the ocean, rolling waves, magnificent night sky: these are just some of the things that have gotten me hooked on the sea. There is nothing like watching a pod of over 200 porpoises pass by your boat. Or a lone whale, following your yacht, curious as to what it is. And when that whale breaches, it is the most fascinating thing to see. At night on the water, there are no man-made lights to dim the gorgeous stars and moon. I follow with my night vision and make my way through a blue-green bioluminescence that comes to the surface on a calm night. When the boat or a slight breeze ripples the water, it turns into the colors of a fairytale. The water, when it’s not playing with you, is a wonderful fascination God made, and you can’t remember ever seeing the ocean like this
