A recognised thought leader in executive and adult education, he combines global perspective with local impact - advising national initiatives, shaping ecosystems, and translating innovation into action.

Michael is Deputy Director at SITLEARN, the professional training arm of the Singapore Institute of Technology, where he drives national efforts to strengthen Singapore’s adult-learning landscape and scale SME transformation through innovation and AI adoption. He also serves as advisor to innovation accelerators, policy bodies, and SME networks, aligning public initiatives with enterprise realities. Previously, he helped expand the international reach of Singapore Management University, launching cross border programmes and building partnerships with global corporations, universities, and policy institutions such as Alibaba, Deloitte, PwC, and GFTN - bridging academic insight with industry transformation across Asia, Europe, and North America.

As a speaker and moderator, he has shared platforms with leaders from Google, IBM, and BlackRock, as well as academics from leading universities and government officials from around the world - translating complex digital and policy trends into practical, human-centred insights for executives and entrepreneurs alike.
