Philippa Cleall lives on the beautiful South Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Her work as a Children’s and Family Counsellor has given her the privilege of walking alongside many individuals and families through times of pain, crisis, and growth. She also serves as a voluntary chaplain in the court system, offering comfort, support, and where discussions allow, hope to those facing some of life’s most difficult circumstances. Philippa is married to Greg, mother to three adult children, stepmother to two adult daughters, and a proud grandmother. A committed Christian for over 30 years, her walk with God has been shaped not only by faith, but also by personal trials and seasons of deep testing. These experiences have instilled in her a compassionate heart and a desire to bring encouragement and restoration through her writing.
Her debut novel, Restoring Hope, draws from this well of lived experience and spiritual insight. She is passionate about supporting the vulnerable and hopes that this novel will be helpful for those on the journey of healing from harmful relationships or navigating an unplanned pregnancy. She previously has written and illustrated books to support young children's dual-language education in East African countries, using animal characters to gently address the vital importance of access to education for all children everywhere.
