From an early age, I’ve been passionate about the environment, nature, and how human activity impacts our planet. Growing up in the countryside sparked my love for wildlife and conservation, alongside a curiosity for how things work. Although my career path led me into nursing after years of personal health challenges, my deep concern about the effects of fossil fuels and climate change inspired me to begin writing and publishing.
My goal is to share balanced, accessible information that empowers readers to take positive action toward a sustainable future without relying solely on governments or big corporations. My first book is the start of a series focused on the electrification of transport, exploring EVs, battery technology, and the journey toward net zero.
Future projects include books on wellbeing in nature, forest bathing, and managing eco-anxiety offering practical, hopeful solutions for modern life. I live in Northern England, where I strive to live sustainably with a low-carbon lifestyle, supporting conservation groups like WWF, Friends of the Earth, and the RSPB.
