Florante Coronel

Florante “Flo” Coronel is an author, marketing and management professional, and community leader whose work bridges industries and continents. With more than four decades of experience in business marketing, healthcare management, and organizational leadership, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to writing and civic engagement rooted in the Filipino-American experience.

He published his debut novel, The Jaguar’s Pact, in 2025, followed in 2026 by JOSE RIZAL: A Life of Learning, Patriotism, and Hope. The latter was inspired by his leadership in establishing “Dr. Jose P. Rizal Way” in Woodside, Queens—the first memorial marker honoring the Philippine national hero in New York City.

Born in Mindanao with roots in Bulacan and Cebu, Flo began his career in the Philippine corporate sector before migrating to the United States. He later dedicated more than twenty years to geriatric care management and now leads Family Care Senior Services in New York.

Beyond his profession, he serves as Chairman and Acting CEO of UNIFFIED Cooperative and continues to advocate leadership, cultural heritage, and community development across the Filipino diaspora.
