Kay Daigle

Kay Daigle is the co-author and co-creator of the popular webcomic series, That Deaf Guy, which includes the collected volumes A Family Portrait, A Wild Ride, and A Triple Shot. She collaborates with her husband, Matt Daigle, who serves as the series' co-author and illustrator and who is deaf and low vision.

Holding a Master’s degree in Sign Language Interpretation from Gallaudet University, Kay has dedicated over three decades to working professionally as a Sign Language interpreter and mentor. In addition to her interpreting career, she has a lifelong passion for comedy and acting, having worked for just as long as a comedic and commercial actor.

She lives with her husband Matt and their son Hayden in Burbank, California, where the inspiration for the That Deaf Guy series continues.
