IMAGNA Legacy Editions is a one-of-a-kind publishing house. Founded by writer, editor and filmmaker Jhon Darwin Herrera, it has turned 103 people into published authors across nine anthologies. Each arrives with an untold story and leaves with three things: a book published worldwide, their unfinished business nearly settled, and an episode on Detrás de Letras, the publisher’s podcast.

What makes Jhon Darwin Herrera’s approach unique is collective storytelling: he brings together communities and groups that rarely find a place in the publishing world and gives them a voice and visibility. His authors, Spanish speakers of many nationalities, have written from Colombia, the United States, Spain, Argentina, Venezuela, Panama, Switzerland, France and England. The reach of IMAGNA and its founder knows no borders. His promise is to change the world through the force of words, and he is keeping it one book at a time.

A journalist, consultant and business strategist, he was recognized as best environmental documentary filmmaker in 2008. He has guided more than 3,500 leaders, founders and professionals in building brands, businesses and purpose-driven narratives. That dual path shows in every book: the filmmaker finds the scene, the writer sustains it, and the strategist knows where to take it.

Born in Bogotá, Colombia, he has traveled across South America, lived in the United States and worked his way around much of the world as a digital nomad. Today he lives in Madrid, where he leads IMAGNA Legacy Editions and brings together new communities of authors.
