C. C. Ford

C.C. Ford published his first novel, What Lies Through the Smoke, in November 2025.

The book earned a silver finalist place in the inaugural Crime Fiction Indie Gold Awards competition and was a finalist for best Action/Adventure in the 2026 Indie Book Awards.

A noir mystery thriller in a dieselpunk setting. Furious pace and a sense of excitement are primary themes in his writing. The author aims to entertain his readers with dazzling action and high-stakes plotlines.

His sequel, Smoke and Mettle, was released in September 2026, with the third part due out early next year.

He also wrote a short tale about murders and fudge, but that's an entirely different story.
