Cara Cerutti Holmes

Cara Cerutti Holmes is a Christian children’s author whose work encourages courage, kindness, and a confident trust in God. Her debut picture book, Ray and the Bay, reflects her heart for helping families plant seeds of faith and character in their children.

Before stepping into the world of storytelling, Cara founded Smarter Garter, an innovative, hands-free purse company highlighted in national media and featured in select Harley Davidson dealerships. She holds a BS in Finance from the University of Utah and a MS in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego. She also served the Department of Defense as a financial analyst after dancing professionally with Pacific Northwest Ballet, Utah Ballet and Aspen Santa Fe Ballet.

Cara now resides in North Houston with her husband and two beautiful teenagers, where she writes stories that point young readers toward God’s love and purpose.
