Scott Marshall

Scott A. Marshall is the pastor of Northern Light Church in St. Helen, Michigan, where he is committed to preaching Scripture with clarity, urgency, and a deep concern for eternal truth. After coming to Christ thirty years ago—and after many years of drifting—Scott experienced a life-altering return to obedience that reshaped his purpose, his ministry, and his message.

His writing reflects the same burden he carries in the pulpit: to confront confusion with biblical truth, to call people to genuine repentance and faith, and to help believers understand what it truly means to follow Jesus. Drawing from personal testimony, pastoral experience, jail ministry, and discipleship work, Scott writes for those who feel lost, overlooked, or uncertain—especially the “black sheep” who are searching for hope.

Scott is the author of Jesus Loves the Black Sheep and other biblically grounded resources designed to equip readers with practical, doctrinally faithful teaching for real-world Christian living.

When he’s not preaching or writing, Scott leads multiple outreach and discipleship ministries, mentors inmates and recovering addicts, and creates faith-based content to point people to Christ.
