From ordained ministry to psychedelic chaplaincy, Ryan Meeks has spent his life exploring what it means to be fully human.
For decades, he and his wife, Michelle, led one of the first evangelical mega-churches in the U.S. to fully affirm and include the LGBTQ+ community. But after surviving cancer and dismantling his own belief system, Ryan turned his focus to helping others navigate transformation. He now helps people who’ve lost their religion but not their longing rewrite the script— turning deconstruction into embodied love, brave partnership, and a life that actually works.
In their day-to-day practice, Ryan and Michelle facilitate retreats, lead transformational couples work, provide (un)spiritual direction and integration coaching, and offer personalized fitness and nutrition guidance. Their mission is to help people feel alive, find deeper meaning, and cultivate relationships grounded in love and presence.
They live in Encinitas, California, with their two youngest sons.
Ryan still sucks at surfing.
