I write Hi‑Lo (high interest, low reading level) books designed to engage and empower struggling and reluctant readers who are between the ages of 10 - 15. I believe every student deserves to discover that reading can be exciting, achievable, and meaningful. My short, fast‑paced chapter books use clear language, relevant themes, and a manageable length to help readers build confidence and experience success. Each story is paired with a reading guide that helps improve comprehension and critical thinking skills. I’m inspired by the belief that when readers are given stories that are both accessible and engaging, they can move from hesitation to genuine enjoyment and develop the confidence to see themselves as capable readers.
