Jennifer Lin is a Taiwanese-born entrepreneur, property investor and advisor, now based in London. After more than a decade of success in corporate communications, including a leadership role at a major English bank in Shanghai, Jennifer made the bold decision to transition into property entrepreneurship. Her life-changing move to London in 2016 marked the beginning of a new chapter in both her personal and professional life.
Jennifer's path to property investment was not straightforward. Having previously bought her family home in Hong Kong in 2008, she had no formal experience in property when she decided to enter the UK market. However, a combination of her keen observation of global markets and a fortuitous sale of her home during her divorce in 2013 gave her the insight into how lucrative property investment could be.
Determined to build a new life, Jennifer threw herself into property education, traveling to the UK multiple times to attend workshops, gain mentorship, and learn various strategies such as rent-to-rent, HMOs, and buy-to-let investments. Despite facing numerous challenges — from navigating the UK immigration system to launching her business during the global COVID-19 pandemic — Jennifer remained resilient and continued to build her portfolio. Today, her companies own and manage 53 property units across multiple locations in the UK.
Her journey is a testament to perseverance, resilience, and the power of reinvention. Jennifer’s experience of starting from scratch after a difficult divorce and a high-profile career serves as an inspiration to others looking to break free from past limitations and create a successful future on their own terms.
In addition to her property business, Jennifer is passionate about sharing her knowledge and insights on property investment, particularly with international investors looking to enter the UK market. Through her work, she aims to empower others to navigate the complexities of property investment and achieve long-term financial success.
