Dave Valliere

Dave Valliere, MEng MBA PhD is a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Toronto Metropolitan University. He was founding Director of the Entrepreneurship Research Institute at TMU and Chair of the entrepreneurship and innovation program at Ryerson University. He has worked as a venture capital investor and commercial banker, and as a software and telecom engineer.

Dave is also a musician and an artist who works primarily in stone, metal, and acrylic paints. Some of his music is available on YouTube @davevalliere. He is also trained in the Zen Buddhist tradition (Chogye order) and teaches Zen and mindfulness practices. His dharma name is Kuwon Shil Seng.
