Gary Charles

Gary Charles is a Montreal-based author, entrepreneur, executive, and storyteller whose books challenge conventional thinking through compelling stories and practical ideas.

His first novel, The Singing Politician, imagines a presidential candidate who loses the ability to speak after a stroke—only to discover he can still communicate through song. The novel has also been adapted into a feature screenplay and television pilot.

Gary Charles is also the author of The Economic Comeback and its French edition, La Revanche Économique, which explore practical solutions for strengthening Quebec’s economy and public institutions. He is the creator of the Joe Bloe™ Guides, a series of accessible books on cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, and metabolic health.

Before becoming a full-time author, Gary Charles spent decades building businesses, leading organizations, and working as a real estate professional. His writing reflects a lifelong fascination with leadership, economics, human health, and the choices that shape our lives.

Gary Charles lives in Montreal with his wife and their three adult children.
