Zavier Thorne

Hey, I’m Zavier Thorne*. I’m a musician, entertainer and writer living in the Wild West of the Bellarine Peninsula. Originally from Melbourne and countless no-name bands going nowhere, I escaped the city to do the family thing down by the sea.

Yeah, I’m an old space cowboy now. I’ve got one ear blown out from standing too close to my amps, Crohn’s disease, no gallbladder, and I still get anxiety big time. All my former bandmates are dying off or worse—stuck in stupid jobs they hate.

But what the hell. I’m lucky to be alive and still gigging, writing songs, and pumping out novels and stories.

After decades of observing humanity’s weird obsession with taking itself far too seriously, I’ve put together a 12-book absurdist futuristic series: Another Day in Paradise Lost. It’s my grand, satirical look at a planet that has completely lost its marbles. Written with the dry, amused wit of a detached interstellar observer (who doesn’t give a shit), the books offer my bemused take on our frantic “rise and grind” hustle culture, look-at-me fixation, and everyday antipodean madness.
