Jane Bow

Growing up in Canada, the U. S., Spain, England and Czechia started Jane Bow on a lifetime of storytelling. Her new romantic thriller, The Angels’ Share, to be published next May, is set in Crete, where she has close associations with sun, sea, climate-conscious winemaking and the nuclear power of love.

Jane's other four novels are also about love. Cally’s Way, set in Crete, earned a feature review in Kirkus Reviews Magazine, reached #2 on a Canadian bestseller list, and was presented at Britain’s Folkestone Book Festival in 2014. Homeless was shortlisted for Britain’s Rubery Book Award in 2024, Dead And Living was shortlisted for Canada’s Arthur Ellis First Novel Award and was selected for a university literature and law course in 2002, and The Oak Island Affair was a U.S. Next Generation Indie Book Award finalist in 2008. Jane has written for Canadian literary journals, Chatelaine Magazine and CBC, and has read her work in Canada, the U.S., Britain and India.

Having raised two children, she now lives, loves, writes and drinks wine with her husband in Victoria, Canada.
