Alan Wigness

Alan Wigness, one half of the duo Wig-Wig Cosplay, is a multi-award winning cosplayer with a focus in detailed crafting and performance writing. “WigTall” and his wife, “wigsmall,” were the 2019 USA representatives for the International Cosplay League in Madrid, Spain where they won the USA’s first ever duo gold medal in an international cosplay competition. When not working away on a Monster Hunter costume, he can probably be found playing games - any kind: miniatures, board, video, you name it! Put a game in front of him and he’ll be excited to try it out (but usually after he has been asked to read the rules and teach everyone else).

Alan lives in Minnesota with his wife and their fluffy cat. Leather in Cosplay, From Hide to Hero, published by C&T Publishing, is his first book and he already has ideas for what is next!
