L.A. Berger is an American author whose childhood adventures took her across countries around the globe. Growing up “different” from those around her gave her a deep appreciation for the questions children ask and the challenges they face when trying to fit in.

Today, she brings that understanding into her online kindergarten classroom, where learning is guided by curiosity—and cheered on by Churro, her spirited chihuahua and beloved class mascot.

Her stories come to life through the colorful illustrations of her husband, W.A. Berger, making their books a true family creation.

And yes, Churro always insists on getting production credits!
