Hi, I'm Angela Barnthouse, author of the Adventures of Sassy & Friends children's book series.

Living along Florida's beautiful St. Johns River has given me the opportunity to observe and rescue incredible wildlife. Every story in the Adventures of Sassy & Friends is inspired by real animals I've encountered, rescued, or observed along the St. Johns River.

Through characters like Sassy the Squirrel, Steve the Otter, Larry the Lizard, Gary the Gator, and many more, I hope children discover the importance of kindness, friendship, courage, and caring for the natural world.
