James Curtis Geist

James Curtis Geist grew up one mile from Dorney Park in Allentown Pennsylvannia. He went to college & seminary in Nyack N.Y. by the Hudson River and lived in Astoria Queens for ten years before moving to northern N.J. July 1st of 2002. In 2010 while teaching, a students said, "Mr. Geist, you should write a book because you have so many funny stories."

Geist was a Protestant pastor for five years, a history teacher for 20 plus years and has been writing since 2016. Three things caused him to write: 1) a broken heart, 2) Charles Bukowski and 3) a former girlfriend who was a newspaper reporter, contantly working on her novel. Geist has written at least 50 books since 2016 coming to an average of 4-5 books a year.

The books include an autobiography, poetry, funny anecdotes, history, theology, politics, public education, 9/11, U.F.O.'s, a shelter dog, children books, young adult books, the women in his life, meeting Muhammad Ali in 1978 and books about 30 different classic rock bands.
