Derek Simpson

Derek Simpson spent two years developing and refining the cross-examination methodology used in this book. Starting in October 2023, he conducted structured interviews with eight major AI systems, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Meta AI, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek, and Llama, pressing each one on the harms they cause, the biases they carry, and the accountability gaps they occupy.

The result is The Quiet Bargain, a unique work that treats AI systems as witnesses and lets them testify, in their own words, about the risks we don't see.
