John Jennett

John D. Jennett was born in Muskegon, Michigan, and spent his early years in foster care before being adopted at age eleven by Phil and Judy Jennett in Newaygo, Michigan. After graduating high school in 1987, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving during Desert Storm and completing three combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan during the Global War on Terror. He retired after twenty-four years of service. A lifelong lover of storytelling, John was rarely seen without a book in hand—something his teachers often joked about—and now channels that passion into writing his own novels.
