Daniel Dias

Daniel Dias is a passionate pétanque player. He works as a teacher and coach for competitive pétanque. To share his experiences he publishes books on pétanque, runs a YouTube channel (search for @petanquetraining), and offers courses in Europe and around the world.

In his first book "Boule | Pétanque: 100 Tips to Improve Your Game" he has developed 100 of these tips to support players and their game.

Under his sporting leadership as national coach (2016-23) of the German espoirs, he won several bronze and silver medals with the national team. In 2017, Germany became European Champions with Dias. 2019, Team Germany won the medal table at the European Championships Espoirs and was the most successful nation. The sensation follows in 2021, winning the Marseillaise (Grand Prix feminin).

Dias himself plays in the German national veterans team and in the German national Pétanque league for PC Jever. He regularly offers courses for players of all levels.
