Shane Elliott is the author of Ace’s Alaskan Summer with Grandpa, a children’s book inspired by his real childhood growing up in remote Alaska.

Every summer, Shane traveled by seaplane to a small log cabin on Shuyak Island, where he spent his days fishing, doing chores, watching wildlife, and learning life lessons from his grandpa. Those experiences shaped his love for nature, storytelling, and the quiet wisdom passed down through generations.
